Tidal Creek Candle Company Hand poured candles from Savannah, Georgia. We started making candles in March of 2023. In January, we started selling candles.

Wick testing was hard; knowing NOTHING about how to make a sellable candle took about 6 months! Essence of Savannah came first and now we've moved on to marbled candles and hope to offer many other variations in the future. We're focusing on room sprays, wax melts, sizzlers and other options to candles.

Hey everybody!!! Just wanted to show my latest creation—sizzlers. They are fragranced salts that you put in a candle warmer. The scent can last from 4 hours to 2 days or longer. When you no longer smell the fragrance, you can add a little more or just dump it into the trash can. Easy cleanup!

Trying out new fragrances is always fun but can sometimes be a little intimidating. You always want to find the right wick on your first go-round. This is my newest fragrance-roasted plum and honey marmalade. Knocks my boots off every time I smell it. Hoping to have it in my collection very soon!! What's your favorite candle scent?

Where did we come up with the name for our candle company?
Not everyone knows where we live and what's in our backyard. We live in Savannah on a tidal creek. We can walk out and see high tides and low tides and even incoming storms.
When we first started making candles, finding the perfect name seemed pretty daunting! Once Tidal Creek came up, there was no other name that would work.

One thing I have learned is that not everyone realizes what citronella is used for. So, when I tell someone I have a citronella candle, they may just be like "oh,ok". But tell someone you have something that helps keep the gnats and mosquitoes away, and they immediately understand what you're talking about!
We offer citronella and orange citronella candles and sprays (my preference is the orange).

Today I'd like to introduce Live Oak. It is a part of the Essence of Savannah collection and comes in small and medium. The small candle burns for 30+ hours while the medium burns for over 35.
The top notes are lavender and geranium, middle notes are mahogany, and the base notes are cedar and oak.

This is my favoritist scent- Top Shelf. It smells like rum, pink pepper, to***co leaf and leather blended together- an absolutely beautiful scent!! It is double-wicked and has burned almost 50 hours.

I have been neglecting my FB page basically since I first posted. I have a few followers and people who pop in, and I am embarrassed for anyone to see it.
Soooo...my goal is to post often (hopefully a few times a day) until I can get caught up on everything I have been working on! I have the Essence of Savannah line, but I've also started creating marbled candles. I'm working on wax melts and room sprays and sizzlers (ask me what sizzlers are).
