Indoor and outdoor fireplaces. On my recent site visit, I stood at the spot where the kitchen island will be and looked at the fireplace being framed in for the family room and then went to the master bedroom to look out through where the sliding glass door will be to the porch’s fireplace. It is always a pleasure to me to see the house come together and feel that energy that spaces will create for years to come! More incredible spaces coming!

To AI or not to AI, that is the question! The images in this post are from a renovation and addition we did where we added a new sunroom, outdoor kitchen, master suite, mudroom, gym, and nursery. The first image shows the sunroom and outdoor kitchen and the second the master suite with deck attached. These were shared with us by the client on how she thought the areas could look. To make these images work with the house’s existing conditions, the design had to change slightly but we were able to give the client an overall look across the back of her house a timeless and elegant look!

To AI or not to AI, that is the question! Here are two images that AI interpreted from our floor plans that our client generated. The first images shows how we repurposed the old dining area into a spacious butler’s pantry off the kitchen and leads into the new dining area. We are keeping the existing windows and proposed a bank of low counters with drawers beneath as shown in the picture. The second image shows the new dining space which was the original living room. Our original drawing showed a table that sat 14 oriented in the other direction and the client said that he is never cooking for that many people so we opted for this seating arrangement which makes the flow from foyer to dining to living much easier.

This month we are celebrating our Employee of the month for July, Orion! Don’t let those good looks fool you! Orion is a team player, hard worker, great communicator, and able to lift anyones spirits. He is always willing to speak up (even during conference calls he is not invited to). Orion is also very willing to share his workspace and collaborate on anything. Thanks Orion for making the office a little brighter each day!

Check out the progress on this house in the framing stages here in Savannah that we designed! This house sits on a fairway within the Landings, has 5 bedrooms, an office, very spacious living, dining, and kitchen, a private owner suite, two car garage with golf cart garage, and a large mudroom at the owner entrance across from a walk through pantry. Plenty of space for an extended family, entertaining, etc. The back screened porch faces the fairway and has a raised patio for fall and spring nights. Our employee of the month for May is Fawkes! We nominated Fawkes because nobody is more enthusiastic about anything to the level that he shows for any situation on a daily basis. His nickname around our office is “hold my beer”, which sums up his personality perfectly. He is known for diving into everything he does with the pedal to the floor! Thanks, Fawkes, and cheers!

We are excited to share some pictures from the field of another renovation project. This client asked for an updated kitchen, reimagined great room with new built ins next to the fireplace, new foyer (not pictured), and an additional ensuite bathroom for one of the guest rooms (not pictured). We will share more from this project as the finishing touches bring it to life.
