Sometimes the best finish… is no finish at all. 🤎

I absolutely LOVE how this tray came out.

No stain. No trying to make the wood look like something it isn’t. Just natural reclaimed wood, with every knot, grain, variation, and little imperfection telling its own story.

The different tones came together so beautifully, and those black handles give it just the right amount of contrast. 🖤

This is exactly why I love working with reclaimed wood—you never quite know what’s hiding underneath until you bring it back to life.

Simple. Rustic. Natural. One of a kind.

✨ Handcrafted with heart.
🌿 Rooted in resilience.
🤎 Built to bloom.

Loving all of these home improvements! In the meantime, I sold another item on Etsy! Up to seven sales! Still moving slow, but I couldn’t be more proud of myself. I am woman hear me roar! 🦁

Some days are slow. Some days are frustrating. But giving up is never an option.

Every market, every conversation, every new person who learns about Ash and Bloom Woodworks is a step forward. Success doesn’t happen overnight—it happens through persistence, showing up, and trying again when things don’t go as planned.

Back at the Saylorsburg Farmers Market today, continuing to get the word out and grow one connection at a time. Every step matters. 🌿🪵

One of my favorite parts of the process… oiling day! ✨

The moment the oil hits the wood, the grain comes alive and all of the natural beauty shines through. Every board has its own unique character, and it’s always amazing to watch the transformation.

Freshly oiled, looking gorgeous, and ready for their new homes. 🪵❤️

when life gives you lemons 🍋, build things. I’m always trying to create as much peace as possible. First the unsteady build, the smell of the sawdust, the mess of the stain, and finally…the feeling of doing something good when good is so very needed. Grateful to God for the opportunity to make something meaningful come to life.

Lately, I’ve realized the garage isn’t just where I work… it’s where I find quiet.

No chaos. No pressure. No voices in the background. Just me, the smell of fresh-cut wood, and the simple focus of building something with my own two hands.

Woodworking gives me a kind of peace that’s hard to explain. It’s steady, it’s honest, and it doesn’t ask me to be anything other than present.

Ash & Bloom isn’t just about what I create—it’s about what creating does for me. It grounds me. It reminds me I’m capable. And it gives me a space that feels like my own.

And for now, that’s more than enough. 🤍
