when life gives you lemons 🍋, build things. I’m always trying to create as much peace as possible. First the unsteady build, the smell of the sawdust, the mess of the stain, and finally…the feeling of doing something good when good is so very needed. Grateful to God for the opportunity to make something meaningful come to life.

Endless projects… Truthfully, I can’t get enough. It grounds me. It makes me feel stronger than I have believed that I am. It’s a beautiful thing to show others what you are capable of, but even more incredible when you get to show yourself. My story is one that I will always proudly tell and there is so much more to write. Never give up on yourself.

Woodworking gives me a kind of peace that’s hard to explain. It’s steady, it’s honest, and it doesn’t ask me to be anything other than present.

Ash & Bloom isn’t just about what I create—it’s about what creating does for me. It grounds me. It reminds me I’m capable. And it gives me a space that feels like my own.
