It's been quite a while since I've posted anything and with the new year upon us, here is a quick update.
Life in 2025 was busy; our family made more awesome memories together on a few trips, enjoyed new activities, continued our favorite hobbies, and attempted to keep up with our 4 year old kiddo!
We also took a huge step in starting a new business; a full-time electrical contractor business that took some serious energy setting up and has been running full-speed since August. My favorite part has of course been getting creative and designing our logo, vehicle wrap graphics, and marketing ads!
This summer I also experienced a huge personal loss; my grandmother who has been a significant influence to my creativity and love for antiques for my entire life. One of my best friends and inspirations is no longer here with me, but now holds a place forever in my heart. I miss her immensely and will always value everything she taught me.
I haven't been purposefully busy with Rustic Customs this past year, well, because.. life! This little side hustle has always been a fun and enjoyable venture for me, giving me a platform to embrace my love for art and creativity. I have learned so many things, tackled fun projects, stretched my comfort limits, and worked with some awesome customers.
This coming year I will be doing just a bit of Rustic Customs stuff when I can, but in all honesty, my availability will be pretty narrow.
