For food visit the Seagrove Cafe, La Fiesta in downtown Seagrove or Cagle's in Westmoore. Saturday, October 6, 2018- Pumpkins at Jugtown!
This fun day has become an annual event with live music, coffee and treats from Buggy Town Coffee, and of course, lots of pumpkins! This year will feature our biggest selection of pottery pumpkins yet, with more sizes and new glazes. Come early for the best selection - shop opens at 8:30. JLK Jewelry will be offering a variety of new styles at Pumpkin Day and then the following day in Greensboroat Art in the Arboreteum

Ben Owen Pottery will be starting the fall season with a kiln opening on Saturday, October 6th, 2018 in conjunction with the celebration of American Craft Week. We will have work in a variety of glazes for this special weekend. Our features will be a new Micro-Crystal glaze, Pomegranate, Chinese Blue, and Chinese Red. The opening will be held 10:00am to 5:00pm on Saturday. A Preview of pottery will be on our website October 5th after 6pm.
We are excited to offer some new Micro-Crystal glazes inspired from earlier glazes like the Stardust series but with a glossy surface. From research over the last six months, we have been able to expand the palette of colors and textures. Ben will be in the retail store and will be available to talk about the new work. Come and see some of the new designs as well as some of the most popular styles in the purples, blues and reds. Some pieces are featured now on our Items for Sale page. Mill Creek Forge (http://millcreekforge.com/) will have a variety of hand forged items with hearts: hooks, hangers, brackets and lots more. Always a fun stop to go in and see a real blacksmith shop and forge, Open 10-5.

O'Quinn Pottery will be decorated for the Valentine weekend. Featured items include ''I LOVE YOU'' mugs, large and small angels and heart-shaped pottery items. Special refreshments will be served and a door prize drawing will be held. Open from 9-5.

Cady Clay Works (http://www.cadyclayworks.com) introduces "Flower Power!" - a selection of handmade flower pins from which all profits will be donated to breast cancer research. Each pin is a unique combination of fabric, yarn, buttons or vintage jewelry.
Beth Gore explained, "The idea for this fundraiser took shape at the end of last year. I was wishing I could afford larger charitable contributions after finding out about new breast cancer survivors among my friends and customers. I am always working on a new craft project, and decided to spend my evenings creating with a purpose." Open 10-5.

Handmade sterling silver jewelry set with pottery cabochons made using Jugtown's clay and glazes and accented with semi-precious stones and often gold or bronze. New statement pieces will be offered!
