Carolina Crockery Gallery began as an place to market items made primarily from Hatfield Pottery and other regional artists in mediums of pottery, glass, wood, fiber and jewelry. The term "crockery" came from Old English and Germanic terms to describe a wide variety of ceramic containers from cooking pots to jars.
It has over the years evolved to two potters, Morgan Hatfield and Katherine Bryant, working with an emphasis on gourmet flavors and presentation of food & art in the home and kitchen. Morgan produces one of a kind pieces for functional and decorative use and Kathy manages pottery production for the olive oil industry across the country.
“Our focus is on beautiful items for home décor and functional ware for serving and kitchen use."
"Let's focus on beautiful things, inspiring things for home and hearth."
The beautiful finished pieces are at Carolina Crockery Gallery, 326 Adams Road. The gallery primarily features pottery from Hatfield Pottery, and other artists from the region.
Celtic themes as well as tasteful decorative colors and textures are prominent throughout the shop. Pottery is the prominent medium, but include glass, wood, fiber and jewelry.
Enjoy curated flavors in olive oils and vinegars, spices and tea from North Carolina partner vendors. These work well with the cruets, trays, dipping dishes and teapot sets.
Gift baskets are available all ready to wrap and send, or build your own from a selection of items.
