I love it when I receive photos of my little keepsake recipients with their keepsakes (swipe!)
I love it when they recognize their clothes and appreciate how they transformed into something different and beautiful.
I love knowing that these keepsakes are now a staple in their rooms and their homes.
And I also love it when the keepsakes are hung higher than their little reaching hands because they are fragile and valuable 😊

I’ve seen this happen so often, people inspiring people and literally saving their lives. From yoga to art to sports to technology and science and everything in between. It’s not a secret that your life is good when you do what you love and what feels right in your bones. Whether that was baking muffins during your break or building water wells in dry countries day and night. I believe that our purpose is to bestow our gift to the world and there is not one gift that’s more worthy than the other.

One thing (of many) I love about the Pokidots keepsakes is that you can hang it there on the wall and nobody has to know that this is your daughter's most cherished toddler dress that's adorning this fabulous whale. But if they look closely and ask "is that a piece of fabric?" then you get a great conversation out of it! 🥰
This one is a DIY keepsake you can make yourself at home. The whale is my favorite of all the styles. What is yours?

My beautiful niece spent the last weekend with us and it was wonderful! We enjoyed her a lot and wish she lived closer. This is the keepsake I made for her (before her curls showed up!! :) with the dress she wore at her first father-daughter dance, a sweet and precious time for my brother.
I drew her how I imagine her as an adult, and I think she is looking like her illustration so far! With just a quick blow-dry ☺️
I love making these keepsakes and looking back, I can clearly see my skills subtly improving. Being a fashion illustrator though, these fashion keepsakes are my favorites to create.

Our Story

Pokidots! is a Seattle art studio that makes custom, personalized keepsakes using your child's baby clothes

It started when Louma, the artist owner of Pokidots! created the first keepsakes for her two little girls, so she could have their sentimental baby clothes displayed artfully, rather than stored in a drawer. These personal keepsakes gathered a lot of interest since then, and a few months later, the wonderful studio that is Pokidots! was born.

Now, three years later, more than 100 keepsakes have been custom hand-made for very happy clients. People are having these precious keepsakes created to tell their own personal stories and journeys, from gratitude, to infertility, to loss, and all the feelings.

Pokidots! now offers several custom keepsake styles to start personalizing, and there is always an option to work with Louma on an entirely custom piece that tells your own family’s story.
