🔥The Phoenix Has Risen 🔥

Just finished this phoenix intarsia piece. Every feather, every flame, every curve was cut, shaped, and finished by hand, using natural wood tones only—no paint, no stain, no shortcuts.
The phoenix has always symbolized resilience, rebirth, and coming back stronger. This piece pushed my skills and reminded me why I fell in love with intarsia in the first place.

Fresh outta the swamp (and my workshop), here’s my take on the legendary Florida Skunk Ape — our state’s own mysterious cousin of Bigfoot. 👣

This piece is handcrafted from multiple natural woods, each cut, shaped, and sanded to bring that curious expression to life — like he’s peeking around the tree just to see what you’re up to.

Mounted on live-edge basswood, he’s got personality, texture, and just enough mystery to keep folks wondering if maybe they’ve seen him on a foggy morning out by the cypress. 🌲
