From cluttered garage and cramped laundry room... to a true primary suite retreat.

What was once a one car garage packed with storage and an outdated laundry room with a tiny powder room is now, a spacious primary suite, a spa-inspired ensuite bathroom, and a hardworking laundry room designed for everyday family life

This project started while my client was pregnant and wrapped up with a newborn and two other little ones at home. Renovating during such a busy season isn't easy, but creating spaces that support families through life's changes is exactly why I love what I do.

The goal was to create a retreat that felt calm, functional, and timeless. Soft sage cabinetry and wall tile, warm wood tones, stunning integrated quartz sinks, and a walk-in shower came together to create a bathroom that feels like an escape from everyday life.

My favorite part of this project might be hearing my clients say:

"Our bathroom genuinely feels like a spa now."

Watching underutilized spaces become the most loved rooms in a home never gets old.

It’s been a little quiet over here… but for good reason ! 👀

Behind the scenes, I’ve been busy bringing this space to life, and I wanted to give you a little sneak peek of what’s been keeping me busy.

This project isn’t finished yet, but it’s already coming together beautifully. In this video you’ll catch a glimpse of the custom molding details we added throughout the living room, all new furniture, and one of my favorite features… the custom bar behind the sofa! It’s the perfect spot for extra seating when family and friends gather, and with football season around the corner, I have a feeling it’s going to get a lot of use.

And we’re not done yet! Next up is a custom-built bar tucked underneath the staircase that is going to complete this entertaining space.

I can’t wait to share the finished reveal with you. Stay tuned… the best is yet to come!

Collaborative Interiors has partnered with BW Design Group, a fast-paced and highly respected interior design/build firm in Wilmington, and we are seeking a qualified Summer Intern.

This is a paid position offering 15–30 hours per week in-office, ideal for a student who already has a foundation in design and is ready to gain real-world, hands-on experience.

🔹 Work alongside professionals on active projects
🔹 Be involved in the entire design process from concept to completion
🔹 Gain exposure to all aspects of the industry
🔹 Opportunity to continue during the school year (for local students)

Requirements:
✔️ Reliable transportation
✔️ Proficiency in AutoCAD
✔️ Prior coursework or experience in interior design/architecture preferred
