🚨 SUMMER INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITY 🚨

Collaborative Interiors has partnered with BW Design Group, a fast-paced and highly respected interior design/build firm in Wilmington, and we are seeking a qualified Summer Intern.

This is a paid position offering 15–30 hours per week in-office, ideal for a student who already has a foundation in design and is ready to gain real-world, hands-on experience.

🔹 Work alongside professionals on active projects
🔹 Be involved in the entire design process from concept to completion
🔹 Gain exposure to all aspects of the industry
🔹 Opportunity to continue during the school year (for local students)

Requirements:
✔️ Reliable transportation
✔️ Proficiency in AutoCAD
✔️ Prior coursework or experience in interior design/architecture preferred

Interior Design Fun Fact

Did you know your brain actually relaxes when it sees symmetry?

When things are balanced, matching built-ins, evenly spaced arches, centered artwork, two chairs facing a fireplace, your brain reads that as calm and organized. And we all need more of that.

Look at these renderings:

• The arched built-ins are evenly spaced and grounded with balanced cabinetry.
• The office layout mirrors on both sides for structure and focus.

ROOM UPGRADE! In the before, the furniture was pushed into the center of the room, which disrupted circulation and made the space feel tight and heavy.
By opening up the layout and spacing the furniture properly, we created clear egress and a more comfortable, natural flow.

Layered décor, artwork, lighting, textiles, and thoughtful styling all made this finished space, feel warm, balance, and a calm, cohesive vibe.

This space got a little refresh for a new play therapist moving in! The goal? Create a room that feels warm and welcoming for kids but still calm and professional for adult sessions too.
We softened the palette and added touches of color and texture to bring balance and comfort as well as touches of organization!

Now it feels like a space that encourages connection, play, and peace.

The Italian ladies sitting chair! Our lovely lady needed a wardrobe upgrade! Once she got a new set of cloths she looked brand new! I teamed up with to help update her beautiful accent chair! Now she sits like the perfect piece of art that she is, in her newly renovated bedroom!

Sometimes projects don’t go as planned, and as a business owner you’re faced with challenges that force you to shift gears quickly. A good friend recently reminded me to be grateful for these “bumpy” opportunities,because they often lead to positive outcomes. She was right. This week showed me who I really have in my corner!

My dad jumped in without hesitation, riding with me to load up my trailer and deliver cabinetry to my client’s home. In the tight timelin, RMB Construction LLC stepped up to help me finish strong. JLM Cleaning Mullica Hill "Just Like MOM"even let me borrow her cleaning tools so I could leave the space spotless and ready for her holiday guests.

To my friends who listened, offered advice, and reminded me of the bigger picture,thank you. Support like this means the world.

Most importantly: I will always go above and beyond for my clients. When I give you my word, I stand behind it. No matter the obstacles, I’ll deliver. That’s my promise.
