It has been over a year since the onset of the COVID 19 Pandemic, and I gave been laying low. I am vaccinated and all-in on continued mask-wearing and limited exposure to people.

During this time, I have been learning about conducting estate sales online via a live auction service.

Here is how it works:
Typically, the auction runs for one week. Items are listed in catalog form with photos. Buyers bid on items they are interested in, and if they win the item, item is paid for, and buyer chooses an available time from the pick-up schedule. A Buyer’s Premium is added to the winning price, usually 15-18%. Also, sales tax (8.25%) is added to the final amount.

If you want to sample this type of estate sale, go to texas.hibid.com or MaxSold.com and view one of their auctions. It is a great way to get some good deals, as prices start from $0.00- $5.00.

Maxsold is a leading estate sale marketplace. We help sellers to sell & buyers to find local estate sales near you with online auctions.

I plan to go forward with this business in 2021, making adjustments to the COVID outbreak and protocols that have been put in place as a result of it.

People still need help downsizing and I am available to consult them, guide them, and help them liquidate. I think all are ready to move forward and put the pandemic behind us.

Any future estate liquidations or downsizing sales I handle will be via online auctions. Very easy, with contact only at scheduled pick up time for auction wins.

I personally feel the need to downsize and will post some items on this page as I decide to let go of them. Stay tuned if you collect primitives, hand-forged metal items, vintage and antique tools, oil lamps and other vintage lighting, vintage Marbles, fossils and minerals, fine crystal stemware, and many other collectibles.

Everyone wins

Been busy gearing up for Phase 2 Sale at Argyle estate. Plus I have moved the contents of a Dallas estate under the same roof, as no sales were allowed in the luxury high-rise apartment. Some very nice Mid-Century Modern pieces at this sale, while they last. Will post some photos in a few days. Sale will be after Easter weekend.

This estate has a lifetime of accumulation of a long time Lewisville family. The couple has been gone quite some time, and their late son, an engineer at Lockheed-Martin, occupied the family home for years.

I will be taking lots of photos in the next few days, so watch for my next post, including a complete list of items and more photos. The address and sale times will be published on the night before the sale. This will be a great place to pick up some interesting gifts and stocking stuffers!
