A couple of months ago, I purchased a dog paw print mold with the intention of creating fused glass paw prints incorporating ashes for those who have lost a beloved pet. ❤️🐾
Little did I know that shortly after receiving the mold, we would unexpectedly lose our beloved Chase, followed by our sweet Maizee just three weeks later. 💔
Losing them both so close together was incredibly difficult, and honestly, it took me a little while to find my way back to creating.
These are the very first paw prints I’ve made. 😔🐾 They hold a much deeper meaning than I ever imagined they would when I purchased that mold.
While making them brought back a lot of emotions, there is also something comforting about being able to create a lasting keepsake that honors the incredible love and memories we share with our pets.
For Chase and Maizee—forever loved, forever missed, and forever a part of our hearts. ❤️🐾
