This is the type of tomfoolery the Postman wants me to deal with.

I ordered a hardback book that was shipped in a cardboard box for books.

Of course the Postman could fit it in from his access point from the back entrance to all.boxes that do not appear to have the same metal molding as individual boxes have for the residents' access.

Hopefully when he saw all of the other mail removed, he left a notice for me to pick it up at the Post Office. I'll check before I go to work.

If the non- thinking individual did not figure it out, I may have to put him on blast.

No, I could not cut the cardboard and remove the book because there is no wiggle room for the book. Hardback does not bend....
