I can’t believe our girl turns 6months today. It’s been a ride with soooo many ups🩷 . However, there was one truly hard day with Kaylee. It was just after she turned one month. In the midst of all the chaos, tears, and exhaustion, I took one of my favorite photos of our little girl.
When I see this photo, I go right back to one of the most trying days in my life. However, it also reminds me of how perfect this exact moment was. It was the moment of survival, of perseverance. When things all settled- the chaos, the tears, and finally the exhaustion that surrendered to rest.

That photo has now become a new drawing for our home. 🥰 A reminder of the rainbow through any and all thunderstorms 🌈
