H.GrantStyle H.GrantStyle is an image consultancy specializing in helping clients liberate their personal style. My interest in style and fashion started with my mother.

She would make clothing for the both of us - taffeta dresses, silk necktie vests, shirts from re-purposed linen pillowcases. Throughout grade school I became enthralled by how my strictly clad peers in their tartan skirts and knee socks would express themselves through their accessories: shoes, jewelry, bags. The ten years I spent wearing this uniform meant that I had a limited wardrobe when I arr

ived at high school and college and yet people were constantly asking advice on what they should wear. I loved helping them and was always willing to lend out my clothes. The trend continued as I entered the professional world and my interest in shopping burgeoned. Friends and strangers would ask me where I bought things and the best places to shop. Stints in the varied industries of retail, real estate and restaurants eventually led me to my desire to do something entrepreneurial. In 2009 I started my own line of handbags called The Kitchen Sink Bag all the while working as a prop and wardrobe stylist for photographers and also coordinating fashion shows. While I continue to enjoy these aspects of my work, I quickly realized what I really love is helping individual clients. My first came in the form of a friend who sought my guidance in her transition to dressing for who she really is, not who she thought she should be. This involved a complete overhaul of her look including: haircut and color, wardrobe, even her home decor and location. I consulted on all aspects with joy and and was always shocked by how much I was willing to commit to her transformation. I couldn't get enough. I realized I had an innate talent, a calling. H.GrantStyle was born.
