Once I finished the little town, I had to make these little ornaments to go with them! Vintage needlework kit exploration part 2: ornaments, but I only made the church an ornament and left the others hanger-less. This kit combined the needlework of the first one, with my Embroidery skills, it was a no brainer

I found these vintage 1978 needlework kits on whatnot, and spent all of February working on them. This was a new craft for me, and the directions were a little challenging, but I had some snowstorms to relax and basically mastered it 😂. They are a part of a whole town, complete with a train and trees, and now I need to find them all. 🚉🌲

Let's talk stars. These little babies were created over 20 years ago. I must have bought a bulk set of glittered colored glue pens and had leftover foam board from another craft, and hence, they were born. Swipe all the way to end to see them on their first Christmas tree in 2004! They have started to pull away from their foam backing over the years so I pulled them off the foam. Then years later, they started to curl. This past Christmas I decided to bring them back to life! I glued them down to thin cardstock, cut them out again and put holes in them. Then I became obsessed and made more with nail polish, acrylic paints, markers and finally sealed them all with modpodge dimensions and I am in love with them all over again! Ah the joys of being a packrat, a forever crafter and a repurposer.

I never posted these babies on my feed, so enjoy! These are no-sew little candies I made using my grandmother's yarn and some of her handkerchiefs and almost all of my fabric scraps for stuffing. They were easy and I couldn't stop making them, so I have more than enough for our little tree. Best part is they aren't necessarily holiday themed so I can use them whenever and wherever!

It's the little things, literally. 🥰 Found this trinket tray last year and finally made the doors to cover it, screwed the tiny latch on, and found awesome hinges! It now matches the long one my dad made me years ago 😭 I have another tray that needs doors too, but I need more acrylic first. Ya girl likes the least amount of dusting possible. It's not hoarding, if your s**t is cool.

2025 year in review stitch along! I started strong with stitching this and then it became daunting to plan something TINY every week. Now that it is done, I'm not sure how I feel about seeing the past 365 days summarized so small and plainly.
It was hard to think of things to stitch that could represent each week, and the more time that passed between weeks, I obviously forgot some s**t that happened. Thankfully I took a lot of pictures of random stuff throughout the year and was able to piece things together. 🤗
I'm happy that I started and proud that I finished this project, but I'm not sure if I would do it again. If I did, I would change the size and the color scheme I picked and make the stitches more precise...I'm my worst critic.
Anyway, there are definite highlights, like seeing all the art projects I worked on throughout the year, all the girl dates I had with my besties, my mom and sister dates at tea and the cemetery, the boxing match and I went to with my dad, the first time my niece and nephew went to the beach on a girls' day, seeing our honorary nieceling at her Taekwondo events and the trips to NYC to see and meet with and trips to AC and NYC for with and meeting , the 2 Instagram collab projects I was a part of, our 6th anniversary...ok, maybe this project is pretty dope. Happy birthday to my amazing mom, the one I get my compassion from, my craftiness, my love of minis, and all cute handmade things from. My momma is a gentle, giving, sweet, patient, yet tough momma who doesn't always agree with me, but lets me do it anyway, or still loves me when I do it anyway 😅 and I love her for that. The only one who can use my full legal name in a tone and still get my attention. 🤣🥰😘 she doesn't have socials at all, so someone will have to show her this, I guess 😝
