About last night - it was perfect, wonderful, and amazing! Thank you to the old friends, the new ones, the spectators, and the supporters! I think it is safe to say I will be doing more of these Sip & Stitch events! I look forward to helping more glorious humans learn how to hand embroider and have fun while doing it!

Once I finished the little town, I had to make these little ornaments to go with them! Vintage needlework kit exploration part 2: ornaments, but I only made the church an ornament and left the others hanger-less. This kit combined the needlework of the first one, with my Embroidery skills, it was a no brainer

I found these vintage 1978 needlework kits on whatnot, and spent all of February working on them. This was a new craft for me, and the directions were a little challenging, but I had some snowstorms to relax and basically mastered it 😂. They are a part of a whole town, complete with a train and trees, and now I need to find them all. 🚉🌲

Let's talk stars. These little babies were created over 20 years ago. I must have bought a bulk set of glittered colored glue pens and had leftover foam board from another craft, and hence, they were born. Swipe all the way to end to see them on their first Christmas tree in 2004! They have started to pull away from their foam backing over the years so I pulled them off the foam. Then years later, they started to curl. This past Christmas I decided to bring them back to life! I glued them down to thin cardstock, cut them out again and put holes in them. Then I became obsessed and made more with nail polish, acrylic paints, markers and finally sealed them all with modpodge dimensions and I am in love with them all over again! Ah the joys of being a packrat, a forever crafter and a repurposer.

I never posted these babies on my feed, so enjoy! These are no-sew little candies I made using my grandmother's yarn and some of her handkerchiefs and almost all of my fabric scraps for stuffing. They were easy and I couldn't stop making them, so I have more than enough for our little tree. Best part is they aren't necessarily holiday themed so I can use them whenever and wherever!
