I took part in the tiny art trade for the first time, hosted by Kelly and I wanted to experiment! I took the concept of the beaded plants I made recently, and since I happened to have 3 of the same 3" x 2.5" frame, I decided to make beaded, bendable, beautiful bouquets! Each one is a little different but all so cute, I want to make one for myself! 😊 I also included a little oval embroidery hoop pendant with vintage fabrics and magnetic needleminders for each of my groups' participants! I can't wait to get my little goodies! (This is my third time writing this caption, I just can't today with technology)

I have been working so hard for months for my return to in-person markets, and I am so excited to be a part of Refresh for the first time, next sunday! I have had so much fun turning vintage textiles, doilies, and accessories into awesome, slightly more modern treasures to be enjoyed for more years to come. My husband has threatened to keep all the dog days of the week pieces because they are his favorite 🥰🤣 Everything shown was rescued from certain garbage doom, I repaired or restitched a lot of pieces, and some were painted/drawn on designs that I stitched over, too. I made custom, stained wooden frames and dyed the cord hangers to match the vintage pieces! I will also have vintage stitching kits, from my personal collection, a gorgeous ooak handmade butterfly bag, vintage fabrics, textiles for repurposing, and DIY patches made from vintage fabric! I hope to see everyone in holmdel for the asbury REFRESH market next sunday!

June review: dressed up for my parent's 50th anniversary

Had my first Sip & Stitch, and it was successful and fun!

My kit design packaging got a revamp

I was busy this month sewing, hand embroidering, staining, and creating wall hangings out of vintage textiles for my July market!

About last night - it was perfect, wonderful, and amazing! Thank you to the old friends, the new ones, the spectators, and the supporters! I think it is safe to say I will be doing more of these Sip & Stitch events! I look forward to helping more glorious humans learn how to hand embroider and have fun while doing it!

Ohh my hands have been busy with vintage goodies! Surprise, I am coming out of a market hiatus and doing a show in July! I stitched all these bad boys and will be turning them into wall hangings, I'm unbelievably obsessed so far. Can't wait to show you more!
