Did a show in Key Port NJ yesterday with 50 other vendors at a high school. Not a lot of people and unfortunately didn't sell a single purse. After speaking with a few other vendors and pointing my booth out, they all thought they were store bought since they look professional made. I was very honored to hear that. But it didn't take the sting away from not one sale. I might just sell online if I can't become a vendor at my churches fair.

There's nothing like walking into the Rahway fabric warehouse and the excitement I feel looking at the wonderful fabrics. I start in the leather section and sometimes I find the perfect color or style. Then the hunt begins to get the perfect inside fabric. My minds eye can see the colors coming together in perfect unison. My sister Ginette loves to tell me I have an eye for fabric and I believe I do! I love creating the perfect purse from the first stitch to add the perfect strap. My signature is the front zipper pocket that has the inside fabric surrounding the zipper. It's a tease until you open the purse and met with the glorious print. These purses are definitely made with love. I'm proud of my work and I know whomever buys one knows they are the owners of a one-of-a-kind creation made by Debs Closet. :-)
