This year isn’t just “a little dry”—it’s one of the toughest water years Utah has seen.
• Snowpack hit record lows
• Runoff peaked early
• Nearly the entire state is in drought

And here’s the reality—most of our water use happens in our landscapes.
The good news: saving water doesn’t mean sacrificing how your yard looks.

At Imagine Landscape, we’ve completed hundreds of water-saving projects across the Wasatch Front:
• Converting park strips and unused turf
• Switching garden beds to drip irrigation
• Full yard redesigns built for Utah’s climate

The result?
Less water. Less maintenance. Better looking landscapes.

If you’ve been thinking about making a change—this is the year to do it.
We can help you take advantage of Utah Water Savers rebates and design something that actually fits how you live.

There’s nothing like a spring mulch refresh 💚🌱

We just wrapped this one up for a valued VIP maintenance client —bringing in fresh compost mulch to reset the beds and get everything ready for the season ahead.

Not only does it look clean and dialed in, but compost mulch feeds the soil, locks in moisture, and gives plants the nutrients they need to thrive all season long.

Simple upgrade. Big impact.

This is the kind of detail that keeps landscapes looking better year after year.

Spring is showing off 🌱

Our crews are out full speed with cleanups, irrigation turn-ons, fertilization, and early-season enhancements—and we had to share this one.

This is a project we completed a couple years ago that we revisited yesterday… and it’s doing exactly what we planned. The three-season gardens are coming to life with early blooms, layered color, and a preview of what’s ahead this season.

This is the goal: landscapes that don’t just look good on install—but get better every year.

If you’re thinking about upgrades or dialing in your property for the season, now’s the time.

If you’ve ever wondered how everything runs smoothly behind the scenes at Imagine… it’s Edwin.

For the past year, Edwin Echevarria has been the one making sure the right crews are on the right jobs—on time, prepared, and ready to deliver. From early morning prep to coordinating teams across multiple properties, he keeps everything moving with purpose and precision.

With a strong background in the home services industry, Edwin brings years of experience managing crews, solving problems in real time, and making sure our clients are taken care of the right way.

He’s detail-oriented, dependable, and takes pride in getting it right—not just getting it done.
We’re grateful to have Edwin leading our operations and supporting our team every day.

Through our Imagine PAWS Program, our team now offers full-service administration of the PooPrints® dog DNA program across the communities we serve.
When I was on my HOA board, this solved a recurring issue in our community—which is exactly why we decided to partner with PooPrints and bring it to more neighborhoods.
Here’s how it works:
• Each dog is registered with a DNA sample
• Uncollected waste is tested and matched
• The responsible owner is notified
Why it matters:
• More cost-effective than ongoing dog waste services
• Very little effort required from boards or managers
• Creates real accountability (not just signage)
• Compliance improves quickly—after year one, issues are minimal
• Keeps shared spaces cleaner for everyone
Like most systems, success comes down to consistent setup and follow-through—registration, communication, and tracking all matter. That’s where full-service administration makes the difference.
It’s a simple concept, but when done right, it meaningfully improves how a community feels day to day.

Meet Emily Daughton — our Director of Client Experience

Emily joined our team in February, and we’re genuinely excited about everything she brings to the Imagine family of clients and partners we serve.

She brings something rare to the table:
she’s been on your side of the table.

Before Imagine, Emily spent 12+ years as a senior HOA property manager, working directly with boards, residents, and vendors. She understands firsthand what property managers and HOA boards expect—because she’s been responsible for delivering it.

What makes Emily different is she pairs that experience with real, hands-on expertise in:
• Plant health and gardening
• Turf and irrigation management
• Seasonal care and long-term landscape planning

She doesn’t just help manage properties—she understands what they need to look great and stay healthy over time.

And when Emily joined Imagine, she had one non-negotiable:
she gets to get her hands dirty at least once a week.
(Which tells you just about everything you need to know.)

Emily plays a key role in connecting our field teams with our clients—making sure communication is clear, expectations are met, and nothing gets missed. We're excited to have Emily join our team! 💚🌱🌷

Landscaping is one of the largest responsibilities—and expenses—of an HOA. And like most things… you get what you pay for.

If you choose a budget landscaper, expect budget results—and more work for the board to manage.

Here’s what to actually look for:
1. Not all estimates are created equal. Some companies underbid to win the contract, then make it up with add-ons and change orders all season. Make sure you’re comparing true scope—not just price.

2. Are they managing the property—or just mowing? A strong partner looks out for the health of the landscape, identifies issues early, and makes recommendations to improve it.

3. Plant and pruning expertise matters. Improper trimming at the wrong time of year can damage shrubs and trees. You want trained crews—not people just cutting things back into squares. Are they keeping an eye on design and plant shape?

4. Who is actually showing up? Are they experienced maintenance professionals, or newly hired crews and construction labor filling in?

5. Communication is everything. Will they proactively update you on irrigation, treatments, issues, and improvements—or only respond when there’s a problem?

6. Do they take ownership? There’s a big difference between checking a box and actually caring for a property.

7. What else can they handle? Enhancements, irrigation, plant replacement, seasonal color, snow Dog DNA Programs—having one partner that understands your property matters.

At the end of the day, the right landscaper doesn’t just maintain your property—they protect it, improve it, and make your job easier. 💚💚💚

I don’t post myself on here much — but I probably should.

I’m Tim, founder of Imagine Landscape. I started this company after years of seeing how frustrating it can be to rely on landscaping services that lack communication, experience and expertise, consistency, or real accountability.

We built Imagine to be different — structured, responsive, and detail-focused — with a real emphasis on doing things the right way the first time.

Over the last five years, we’ve had the chance to work on hundreds of properties across the valley, from homes to HOAs to commercial spaces, and it’s something I don’t take lightly.

If we’ve worked together we’ve already met, and I appreciate you.
If not — I look forward to the opportunity.
