A little chlorophyll for the less fortunate corners of your house.
Plants that tolerate indirect light without looking like a compromise.

Something new has been growing. 🦢

Grounded & Rare started with plants. Collecting them, growing them, finding the strange ones, and sharing the specimens I couldn’t walk past.

Over time, that eye for unusual plants grew into something bigger.

Swan & Thorn is the next chapter: a home for unusual plants, handmade pieces, found objects, and things with enough character to refuse to be background.

Swan comes from Lebid, Ukrainian for swan. Thorn is for the wilder side of what I’ve always loved: sculptural, imperfect, prickly, strange and beautiful.

The website is quietly live now. It’s still growing, but I wanted you to see it first.

Things of beauty, made & found.

Better together. 🌿 Two unusual little plantings, paired in coordinating green-glazed ceramics by Hillside Mudworks 🙌

I’m increasingly obsessed with selling plants this way: not just a plant, but a finished little object for a shelf, desk or windowsill.

This pair is now sold as a set on Etsy + eBay.

Plants, but make them objects. 🌿🌒

I’ve been pairing some of my stranger specimens with handmade ceramics from Hillside Mudworks, and these combinations are exactly what I want Grounded & Rare to be about: unusual plants, beautiful objects, and pieces you don’t see everywhere else. 👀🙂‍↔️

A few of these will are already available individually on Etsy + eBay.

Euphorbia mammillaris variegata 🤍🌵

Not your average succulent.
Heavy white variegation, sharp structure, and that almost sculpted, stacked growth that makes this one stand out instantly.

This is the kind of plant that doesn’t blend in—it anchors a space.

4” rooted specimen. Limited availability.
