When I hand sketched this kitchen years ago, I had a sink skirt in mind while designing the cabinetry. Just in case I ever decided I preferred a skirt over cabinet doors.

Now 8 years later, I decided to try it out and cannot believe I waited this long. I haven’t hemmed it yet, but which do you prefer. Doors or skirt?

CAN YOU EVEN!! They’re GREEN!! I have drooled over Big Chill since we started building this new “old” house over 8 years ago.

Mark finally said, it’s time girl… treat yo’self. 🤍 And again, he was the encouragement to take the risk with this beautiful pale green.

They are the perfect blend of old and new! Beautifully vintage on the outside with all the modern conveniences you want on the inside!

They fit my new “old” house aesthetic perfectly. The timeless charm of a historic home without sacrificing the modern features we rely on every day.

Could not be more perfect, don’t you think?!

A beautiful laundry room isn’t just about pretty finishes. It’s about creating a space that actually functions for real life.

Designing a place where all the things can disappear behind closed doors (shoes, sports equipment, beach bags, towels, backpacks, cleaning supplies) all out of sight.

When it came to the cabinetry for this room, I compared several companies before deciding on RTA Cabinet Store . The quality, price & customer service were the best I’ve found.

The cabinets arrived pre assembled, installation was straightforward and their design team was incredibly helpful.

This room is very easily one of my favorites in the beach house. What do you think? 😃

does it again!! There are some design decisions that have a much bigger impact than people realize and flooring is one of them.

Flooring and tile can instantly place a home in a certain era. Since my goal has always been to create homes that feel timeless and historically appropriate, my floors should also reflect that.
