That’s called FROSTING! ❄️

Frosting is a completely natural characteristic of soy wax. Because soy is a natural wax, tiny crystals can form as it cools or goes through temperature changes. It may change the appearance of the candle, but it does NOT mean your candle is bad, old, or ruined — and it doesn’t stop it from smelling amazing. 🫶🏽

Honestly, I like to think of frosting as soy wax showing off that it’s soy. 🤣🕯️

🐾 HI NEW FRIENDS! LET ME INTRODUCE WAGS & WHISKERS! 🐾

I’ve noticed quite a few new faces here after following along with the little kittens I recently rescued, so I wanted to properly introduce myself and what this page is all about! 🥰

First things first — Wags & Whiskers is not an animal rescue or shelter. I’m just an animal-loving human who will absolutely step in and help a fur baby when one crosses my path. 🐶🐱❤️

Wags & Whiskers Wax Studio is my small, handmade business right here in Texas! 🤠🐾

I make small-batch goodies including:

🐾 Soy wax melts
✨ Room sprays
🧼 Foaming hand soaps
🧽 Counter Clean
🐶 Freshies
…and whatever else my crafty brain decides to get into! 🤣

But the Wags & Whiskers name has always meant more to me than just cute branding.

🐾Kitten update 🐾

🫠I forgot to update yesterday… so here is today’s!
72 hours in and the two adopted kitties are doing great! They have been nursing non stop and cuddling perfectly with their new siblings. ❤️

I think we’re past the scare of them dying for lack of food and now we’re just watching to make sure they don’t get sick etc….

Miss Petunias Deserve all the treats! 🐟 🐈‍⬛🐾
