Maple syrup…but make it CARAMEL. 🍁

This Maple Caramel Sauce is buttery, silky, ridiculously easy—and currently making its way onto something VERY good in my kitchen. 👀

And no, I’m not telling you what just yet. 😂

Drizzle it over cinnamon rolls, pancakes, waffles, ice cream, apple crisp…or eat it straight off the spoon. I’m not here to judge.

Have you missed me? 👀 Because I might be thinking about bringing the rolls back.

It’s been a minute since I’ve done a Big Girl Pants bake day, and lately I cannot stop thinking about how much I miss it—the dough, the frosting, the ridiculous amount of butter… and handing you a box of warm cinnamon rolls at the end of it all. 🤎

So before I get myself into something 😂, I need to know:

If Big Girl Pants did a limited cinnamon roll pickup in September… would you want in?

I’m thinking my big, classic cream cheese-frosted rolls + one really good fall-ish flavor. And yes, I already have something in the works. 👀

I don’t want a simpler life because I want to care less.

I want simpler ways of doing things because I care deeply about the details.

I still want to bake the bread, grow something in the garden, bring something good when someone needs it, set a pretty table and have people over.

I just don’t have endless hours to do any of it.

That’s really what More Heart Than Time means to me. Finding ways to keep doing the things that make life feel meaningful—without making ourselves crazy in the process. 🤎

Every really good cinnamon roll starts here. 🤎

This is my signature cinnamon roll dough—the base I come back to again and again for classic cinnamon rolls and all the seasonal versions I love to make.

It’s soft, buttery, a little sticky, and exactly the kind of dough that makes people think you worked much harder than you actually did.

And we’re going to do a lot with it around here.
