Mini Ube cake roll painting study 🤤💜🎂🍒 2” x3” acrylic paints with recycled painted pearl beads for a 3D cherry topping.

Tried to emulate Wayne Thiebaud’s style, similar to an oil painting class assignment that I wasn’t too proud of. Though not as thick and impasto textured, I feel more of a victory with this one!
•
It took me 4 months to actually finish this y’all 🙈😅mainly because I started a base layer, took a “break” from it while it got lost in piles of other projects until this week🎨🐒🍽️

Anyone else like taking their time working on unearthed old projects? Just me??
•
2 more in the set to be done, wanting to incorporate more 3D textures with those as well! 🍙🍧
