Remember forever ago I said I was working on my first ever quilt...we'll I finally finished it! Definitely not perfect but pretty fu***ng good for my first one. Made for a special friend's special friend as a memorial piece. I didn't take pictures (so dumb of me) but I added a few applique pieces around the quilt. Plus, hand chain stitch for all the lettering. Loving that I'm able to work on large and meaningful pieces.

What an honor is it to be asked to stitch these black and white portraits of these beloved best friends. These boys were rescued by the amazing individuals at Charlie's Acres and giving the rare opportunity to live in peace and be a reminder of empathy. I knew I always wanted to start making/offering piece like this, so for my first attempt...not to shabby. I know I've been slacking over here. I haven't been adjusting well to my full time job quite yet. I LOVE my job, but my time management and what I think I can actually get done in a day are struggling. BUT I did get my s**t together enough to FINALLY put these mini DIY kits together and up on the website.

This mini DIY kit is more of a "choose your own adventure" when it comes to the embroidery or design you want inside of these mini 1" hoop. This kit just comes with the 10 pack of pieces you see here and instructions on how to assemble them. You can choose the wood color and even add custom engraving to the back for a small fee. These are perfect for using up your scrap fabric to make either keychains, earrings, ornaments, or whatever else you can come up with.
