Sometimes the biggest transformation isn't just how a room looks, but how it feels.

For this primary suite, our goal was to create a soothing retreat. A cozy, layered escape from everyday life. A place to curl up with a good book, unwind at the end of the day, and wake up feeling refreshed and restored.

We brought that vision to life through modern furnishings and lighting, a watercolor-inspired wallcovering, subtle nods to our clients' favorite place in Florida, and layers of natural textures and fibers.

The result? A space that feels peaceful, personal, and entirely their own.

When you're building your own business, some days are really hard. There are long hours, tough decisions, and so much that happens behind the scenes that no one ever sees.

Want to see a gorgeous transformation?!?

SWIPE for the 'Before' of this bedroom.

The clients actually called this space a 'dungeon' before, and they were ready for a light, bright, relaxing change. Their requests were that we use inspiration from their favorite place in Florida and lean modern with some of the elements.

My goal as a designer was to go above and beyond and make sure it was an incredible transformation that allows them to rest and recharge on a daily basis. They are fabulous and fun and deserved a space just as wonderful as they are.

If you're new here, welcome! 👋 I'm Emily, founder of Emily Wood Design Co.

I'm a creative at heart, but building my own design business is something I never set out to do.

I grew up as the daughter of two public school teachers in a small town here in the Ozarks. My first career was in TV journalism, and I loved anchoring the news. But having two children changed everything.

I made the difficult decision to leave television to become a stay-at-home mom, never knowing God had another plan in store. Years of renovating homes was quietly preparing me for a future in full-time interior design.

Today, I have the privilege of helping busy professionals create timeless luxury through new construction, renovations, and furnishings. We walk alongside them every step of the way: from dreams and plans to a move-in ready home with no detail overlooked.
