BBQ Pulled Pork Mac Attack Bombs
Ingredients 🛒
Mac & Cheese Base:
● 2 cups cooked elbow macaroni
● 1 ½ cups sharp cheddar, shredded
● 1 tbsp butter
● 1 tbsp flour
● 1 cup milk
● Salt & pepper to taste
● Optional: pinch of paprika or garlic powder
To Assemble:
● 1 ½ cups pulled pork (pre-cooked or store-bought)
● ½ cup barbecue sauce
● Extra cheddar for topping
● Fresh parsley for garnish
● Optional: muffin tin for shaping
Instructions 👩🍳
1️⃣ Make the Cheese Sauce: In a saucepan, melt butter. Stir in flour and cook for 1 min. Slowly whisk in milk until smooth. Simmer until thickened, then add cheese and seasonings. Stir in cooked macaroni.
2️⃣ Form Bombs: Let mac cool slightly. Pack into greased muffin tins or silicone molds. Chill for 30–60 mins to set.
3️⃣ Heat Pulled Pork: Toss with BBQ sauce and warm through.
4️⃣ Assemble: Remove mac bombs from tin. Top each with a spoonful of pulled pork, drizzle with more BBQ sauce, and sprinkle cheddar on top.
5️⃣ Finish: Optional – broil for 2–3 mins until cheese is melty and edges crisp. Garnish with parsley.
