Our Story
As a family owned company Frames by Mail’s mission is to provide affordable quality custom framing and wall décor to enhance your home & office. Starting as a retail store in 1964 offering custom framing and art supplies we expanded into art classes. From our store front it was a short step to become a catalog company advertising in American Artist and Sunshine Magazine. Then in 1998 it was onto the internet, becoming one of the first online custom framers.
Staying current with décor trends as well as the latest technology Frames by Mail is constantly expanding to include the features, services and the styles that our customers are seeking. Not only is it important to watch what the professional designers are using but, equally important is listening to what our customers are looking for in framing. This has brought about many of the mats and frames that we have added over the years.
With over 100 years of framing experience our staff is here to answer questions from style to technical framing questions. While we strive to capture the detail of every frame and color match our mat board sometimes there is the need to see the “real thing” for that reason 4” samples are offered free of charge.
