This is the semi-final look for the gargoyle/demon version of this creature. I will be trying the ridge idea again once I have more yarn. I've got a feeling when the horns are longer I'll like the center ridge more. But I didn't have enough yarn for my full vision. After struggling with the center ridge/yarn outage, I just wanted to be done and slapped any old thing on the tail 👀

I'll be more motivated for the second time I make it...still not sure on colors. Now I'm thinking black and purple bc I have a lot of that haha no chance to run out!! It'll be the same shape as the gargoyle, but I'll give it a demon theme instead. All that I'll change is the colors, nothing else.

I really wish I hadn't picked this yarn as the main color 😕 I have SO MUCH of every other color and this is discontinued 🥀

On the upside, i do like how he's turned out for the most part.

I lied. I'm actually making another one of these weird things. This one is going to be a little different: the base will still be no-sew but I'm not sure how much of the limbs and other details will be no-sew.

I will still try to make the limbs no-sew but I'm less concerned about that and more worried about making the design look how I picture it in my head. It's already a little goofy, but I'm going to see how it looks once it's totally finished. If I still hate it, I'll sell it and forget this ever happened.

Any guesses on the theme for this strangely shaped entity? The color is probably the only hint at this point 🤣

I’m moving! Just my office and just to upstairs for more room bc my family is tired of me taking over the dining room and displaying my madness in the front room of the house for all to see 👀 Oh, darn. I shall just have to retreat to the upstairs MANSION where there's oodles of space. In trade, my son wants a fish tank 😂 Easy deal imo.

I'm sooo excited to get into my new space and to expand more into quilting. I've got huge things brewing for the future and I'm beyond excited!

Like I said I have an Instagram to document my quilting goofboobery but no tiktok yet. Follow if u wanna see why I need ALL THAT SPACE!

I finally finished taking pics for this pattern! I've been typing the pattern up and formatting pics as I go, so there isn't a lot left to do before I'll do a tester call.
