Sherry and Jay Phillips are wood artists and both graduated from Parkway Central HS here in Chesterfield; they have lived in Chesterfield since before it was the City of Chesterfield! Their children attended Green Trails Elementary School and attended Parkway Central as well as Chesterfield Day School and Whitfield School. Sherry and Jay have viewed many juried art fairs around the area and are excited to join us at Faust on August 16th for our Art Fair as Faust is a park in which they love to take walks.

They use a lathe to turn wood and segment wood using a planer, various power sanders and the table saw. They love taking upcycled Missouri woods and repurposing them into art as well as using imported exotic woods. They also love experimenting with resin and wood.

They make pens, cutting boards, charcuterie boards, wood trivets, segmented wood bookmarks with custom laser sayings, wine bottle stoppers, wine bottle/wine glass holders and wood beer bottle openers.

Come see Sherry and Jay as well as other artists and musicians and be able to explore the historic Village on August 16th from 9 am until 4 pm.
