Update on my bedroom: I'm obsessed with this wall color, Ocean Abyss by Behr. It seems to change colors throughout the day. I chose a semi-gloss finish to bring out the richness.
Next was my furniture that now no longer matched. I did an ombre technique and addedd some gold leaf detail. It was my first time using gold leaf so there was a learning curve but I love how it turned out. 😁

I also think it would be fun to note that I LISTEN to books constantly when I'm working. Depending on the season, the style of the project, or a must-read recommendation...
I can remember or see a project I've done and remember exactly what book I was listening to. I'm obsessed.

Back to the Trudo's for a fourth time. Client's little one is growing up and ready for an update. I did the "Horsey Room" for her many years ago (one of my faves)...

Now we're glamming it up with a with black, white, blush, and gold theme. It is so fun working with this family.
Mom sent me pics of the bedding and other room decor they had picked for the room...

With these pics and more details I was able to "sketch" several ideas for the new wall....

They picked their favorite and I started today...
