After being laid off in 2009, then again in 2010, I decided it was as good of a time as any to convert a long-time hobby into a source of income. Two of my joys are quilting and my experiences working within the Deaf community. I envisioned a site that would allow me to sell handmade items incorporating one or both of these two passions. I shared my idea with some of my sisters-in-law and they wer

e willing to contribute as well. We decided the website, ETSY, would be the perfect venue, and thus, "Greene Quilts and More" was born.
