⛈️🍪 Well… today definitely didn’t go as planned!

A pretty bad storm rolled through Mocksville during our event today, and unfortunately, the event had to be cancelled early. That left The Cookie Cottage NC with A LOT of cookies and me wondering what in the world I was going to do with them all! 😅🍪

But once again, this community showed up for my little business in the BIGGEST way. 💛 After posting on Facebook, we had an abundance of people reach out to grab cookies, place pickup orders, share the post, and help us make the best out of an unexpected situation.

I truly cannot say THANK YOU enough to everyone who reached out and supported The Cookie Cottage NC today. Every order, share, comment, and kind word means more to me than you know. 🥹🍪

And there was another bright spot in our stormy day! We had the pleasure of meeting the wonderful staff at JJ’s Mama’s Soulfood Express and getting to sample some of their AMAZING food! 🤤

If you haven’t stopped by to visit them yet, you are DEFINITELY missing out! Their food was absolutely delicious, but I have to give a special shoutout to the chicken wings dipped in their housemade barbecue sauce. 😍🔥 Seriously… DO NOT skip those wings!

Today may not have gone according to plan, but between the support from our community, meeting some wonderful new people, and eating some seriously good food, it still turned into a pretty sweet day. 💛

Thank you, Mocksville, for continuing to support small businesses and showing up when it matters most. 🫶🏼🍪

We came with a table FULL of cookies and we’re wrapping up this weekend almost completely SOLD OUT! 🥹🤎 I truly cannot thank everyone enough who stopped by, grabbed some cookies, chatted with us, and supported The Cookie Cottage NC. Every purchase, kind word, and new face means more than you know!

Seeing this table nearly empty is the BEST kind of problem to have. 🥰🍪 Thank you for making this event such a wonderful one!
