Bona Traffic HD - Anti-Slip. Perfect for stair treads.

Slippery stairs no more! Im really pleased with the results on these stairs.

While they do look more stylish with some minor color correction and filled nail holes, the real value is in their improved safety. The finish gives a comfortable amount of texture without feeling overwhelming. The floor also keeps its sheen (shine) surprisingly well, considering the increased texture.

Here are some photos from this week’s clear coat project! This project had some bad pet urine stains that came out amazingly! This oak was also pretty high character, which I actually prefer the look of over a more uniform looking floor. All in all, the floors cleaned up excellent on this one! Complete space transformation.

Here are some before and after photos from my most recent floor sand and refinish transformation! 🪄 This floor turned out so good that I felt guilty for walking on it afterwards.

Bona INTENSE color finished with Bona Traffic HD Satin were chosen for this 3 & 1/4” red oak project. This color bridges the gap between the darker amber 🔥(which is meant to look like fresh oil-based finish) and a clear coat. Let me know what you think!

Custom solid oak table stained with golden brown. 🎨

When I purchased this table it was in rough shape with deep gouges and discoloration. It required a complete sand down, re-stain, and new legs to give it an updated look.

With threaded inserts attaching the legs and 4 coats of high quality water-based poly on top, this table is as high quality as it gets.

Stair nose sand and refinish! Today’s project was small in scale but high in complexity. This project demanded precision scraping/sanding, color matching (from unknown color), and careful finishing.

It’s no easy task making a repair blend in, but I think I got this one as close as humanly possible.
