Welp, that's a wrap 😭 The shop is currently all packed into storage. Until I can find a new place.

My landlord passed away from cancer and the property is being sold.

Making mistakes in the shop, is well, pretty common in my shop 🤷 Sometimes you make fire wood, other times it works out....

Making mistakes in the shop, is well, pretty common in my shop 🤷 Sometimes you make fire wood, other times it works out.

I thought I messed up, when routing the slot that holds the bird on top of the flute. I made the slot almost double the length I usually do (4th pic) and thought it wouldn't look good, so I used it to doodle on and wood burned the crow into it, just too practice my wood burning. Then decided to just go with it and see how it looked with longer birds, I was really surprised at how much I liked the end result!

The last 2 photos are Christmas presents that are on their way, to their new homes! I was in a rush and didn't get better pictures of them. But that's how it goes sometimes.

Addiction comes in many forms, making flutes seems to be my vice at the moment 🤗 😂 I really love the sound of these higher tone flutes!

Keys from left ➡ right, E, D #,D,C #,C and B. A few duplicates in there. Woods are Honey Locust, Sapele (I think) and the drone is Cedar.

If you're interested in one, let me know! They are very easy to learn to play, even if you're not musically inclined!
