We are officially in the home stretch! 🕯️🍂

Four days until launch and it is definitely crunch time around here. 😂 The testing is done, the jars are wicked and now it’s time to get these candles poured!

September 7th… here we come! 🤎

There’s something I love about this part of the candle-making process… testing new fragrance blends. 🌿🕯️

Today I’m pouring sample candles for my Fall, Winter, and Spa collections to see which ones make the final lineup.

Come hang out with me behind the scenes and see how new candles are born. I’d love to hear which fragrance combinations you’d be most excited to try!

Starting my day off with coffee, my planner, and a whole lot of learning. ☕

Today I’m diving into Shopify because Bay Ocean Candle Co. is finally getting its own website! 🕯️✨

Today’s little reset 🌱💚

Spent some time out in the backyard working on my vegetable garden today. It’s still a work in progress, but it felt so good to slow down, get my hands dirty, and do something just for me 😊

More to come because I’m definitely still working on it 🌿✨.

It’s been a minute since I’ve posted, but this little candle fail was too good not to share!

I tried to show what happens when you don’t trim that little “mushroom” off your wick — and of course, the first time I lit it, the flame went wild (camera wasn’t even on 🤦‍♀️).

Moral of the story: trim your wick to ¼ inch every time! Your candle will thank you — and so will your eyebrows 😅

✨ Safety + cozy vibes = always the mission here at Bay Ocean Candle Co.

🍞✨ Day off vibes ✨

Today I decided to try something totally new — baking homemade rolls and bread for the very first time! 🙈
I’ve got the before and after pics of my rolls (not too bad if I say so myself 😋) and the bread dough is rising beautifully — it’s almost ready to go in the oven and I’m so excited to see how it turns out.

Just one of those simple, happy days at home… getting things done, slowing down, and trying something new. 🕯️💕

Who else loves a cozy baking day?

🌻 A little “me day” moment 🌻

Took the day off and started with a Trader Joe’s run — grabbed some roses and sunflowers (all cat-friendly for Clover 😺).

Checked on my garden and couldn’t believe it — two watermelons are growing! 🍉 Last year I planted them way too late (November 😅), and they froze, but this year’s mild summer gave me a sweet surprise. Hooray for me!

And sidenote — Trader Joe’s dropped the cutest little embroidered canvas bags for Halloween 🎃 They were flying off the shelves, but I snagged a couple before the line got wild. Total score! 🙌

Just one of those cozy, simple, feel-good days 💛
