I am pleased and excited to share that I was invited to an exhibit at the Bailey Gallery in Hobe Sound, Florida. I, along with several other local artists, will be showing pieces that depict Florida's wildlife, flora, and fauna. It is an honor to be invited to the gallery, located at 11870 SE Dixie Hwy, 33455. Thanks so much to curator Maureen Mahoney and the gallery for the invitation. Here is a preview of some of my pieces that will be there. The opening is on Friday, February 27th from 5-7 pm. My latest work in progress, no title yet. Here I am trying to tone down the yellows with some dioxazine violet in my subject. I have a long way to go especially on the background as landscapes are hard for me..

I didn’t make it into the 2026 HPS calendar with my turtle painting, and that’s ok. I know it’s been a (long) while since I have been able to post. Life happens right? Well after moving into my new home and new studio space- a hot enclosed porch with a few fans in it now, I am finally excited to be painting again. I am currently working on a Margay - a jungle cat native to Central and South America as well as Northern Mexico. I’ll try to post pictures as an edit later.. I at least got the eyes started 🙂 . Have a blessed day and thank you for following me!!!
