Welcome to Squared Away Creations! I have been dreaming of opening my business to the public, and with the help of my wife , things are moving in the right direction! When I was young growing up in Kansas City, my parents instilled a love in me for handmade things. My mother quilts and can make just about anything made from cloth (Her shop just opened, look up ). My father draws

, carves and build small items. As a young man I was told I had a very active imagination and did enjoy making things myself, but with the amount of ideas I was surrounded with I had a hard time settling down and choosing one area to specialize in. When I joined the Navy in 1997, I decided to focus on my career as there wasn't very much room or time to do any type of crafts on the ship. Over the years, I came to realize I had a greater passion for woodworking, and started making things myself. The realization of that is now coming to you.
