Another beautiful night to get knotty🤩

I love staying up late and knotting, its my time. No chaos from little people and no chores. Just Lil ole me and a pile of cords with my show on the tele an aldi candle lit, just vibing. 💫

Plus my hubby gets done with work at midnight. So I get him a foot bath going, dinner heated in the oven and we get to recap our day together. 🫶

Loving the life you live is all about about the little things🥰

I'm not gonna lie the Double half hitch knot is not my favorite, especially when there are rows of them. It's challenging to keep the rows tight so they don't seperate.... but not too tight that it doesn't line up on the ends.

Annddd, I've figured it all out, the right slack and tension!

As the saying goes, "practice makes perfect!"

What a whirlwind of emotions today has been. Huge thanks to every person who came to the one year anniversary Oddities and curiosities event today at KindredHeart
While the all around vibe was strange and unusual, the people were full of kind words and great stories.
So excited to see what the next year will take every individual who has joined the KindredHeart crew.

Today was such a beautiful day. As I sit here writing, my eyes are leaking those sweet, happy tears—it’s the one year anniversary of KindredHeart KindredHeart.
But it’s more than just the shop’s anniversary that’s moving me; it’s mine too. I never could’ve imagined being part of a place like this, or that people would reach out to me for custom orders.
Over this past year, I’ve met the most incredible souls, felt so much love poured in and returned, and watched beauty fill this space through every piece of art that’s found its home here.
The laughter, the creativity, the friendships, the life KindredHeart brings to our community—it all overwhelms me in the best way.

I’m endlessly grateful to call KindredHeart the home of all my art, and to share it with such beautiful hearts around me.

What Mikinzie has done for local artists has been amazing. I've been blessed to be apart of her shop since the very beginning and just like many, it all started with a fb message when she seen my hand made macrame on marketplace. The friends I've created, the laughs we've shared, the insight I've received, the community engagement and the growth in my business largely because this woman woman had a dream. A dream to help, a dream to grow and a dream to find the kindred hearts in all of us amazing artists. Thank you, KindredHeart I love you!

It's been my goal to knot every day. We're trying to save up for a down payment to buy our own home.
Tonight my project was photo bombed by my sweet meat head! Him's is watching mama knot while he begs for dad's snacks🤣😅
