🎉 Showcase Your Talent at the Lassen County Student Showcase! 🎉
Students from across Lassen County are invited to participate in the Lassen County Student Showcase: Art & Academic Excellence on May 2, 2026, from 10 AM – 3 PM at the Lassen County Fairgrounds.

This exciting event celebrates student creativity, innovation, and achievement. Students are encouraged to submit projects in a variety of categories, including:
🎨 Art Projects
✍️ Creative Writing & Poetry
📜 History Projects
🔬 Science Projects
🏫 Teacher’s Choice
🛠 Vocational Education
🪵 Woodworking

⭐ Special Class Project Category:
This year’s fair theme is “Celebrating America – 250 Years of Red, White, and You.” Class entries should reflect the theme through an art-based project.

The Lassen County Arts Council is excited to launch Art in Every Hand — a creative community project open to all ages and skill levels!

✨Free canvases available for pick-up starting March 5 through May 16 at the Gallery!

🎨 Take it home and paint it, decorate it, collage it — make it uniquely yours

📅 Return your finished canvas by May 22

✨See your artwork displayed as part of a special community exhibit!

No experience necessary. No pressure. Just creativity. Whether you’re 5 or 95, this is your chance to be part of a colorful, collaborative showcase celebrating the creativity of Lassen County.

The Spooky Art Lab was one for the books! Both classes were packed with creativity, messiness, and hands-on fun! You can never go wrong with bubbling witches potions and glowing lanterns! 👻💜

A huge thank-you to all the families who came out and spent the day creating with me!

I’m already dreaming up the next one… thinking Winter Wonders ❄️ a little science-y, a lot of magic! 🔬☃️
