~ Cover your mums and other tender potted plants with a breathable sheet or frost cloth.

~ Move smaller pots into a garage or sheltered space.

~ Uncover plants tomorrow morning once temperatures rise above freezing.

Gather the family, bring your favorite furry companion, or add a little farm charm to your photos! Professionally styled photo booth and photographer on site. Photos are just $15.

Need a furry friend? Sutton MA 4-H Club will have some adorable animals available to join your photo for just $5. Yes, you read that right!

With some areas of central MA getting over 4 inches of rain this past weekend, we are dealing with lots of standing water. Many planters have prober drainage, but some if the more decorative or repurposed ones do not. Be sure to drain off any excess water asap so the roots can work on drying out.

Let's keep those porches and planters pretty!

With strong winds and plenty of rain expected across Central Massachusetts, now is the time to give your fall decor a little extra attention. In anticipation, we did our best to place everything installed this week with a little extra consideration and some extra tight baling twine. Here's how you can prepare:

PUMPKINS - Move smaller pumpkins and gourds to a sheltered spot. Large pumpkins can stay put as long as they’re stable and not sitting somewhere they can roll or become a hazard.

CORNSTALKS - Check your ties and make sure cornstalks are securely anchored. Wind can turn even the prettiest fall arrangement into a flying decoration!

PLANTS (BLOOMING MUMS NEED EXTRA ATTENTION!!!) - Plants in containers, need good drainage and shouldn’t sit in standing water. After the storm, give them a shake to remove excess water and clear away any damaged blooms or leaves. **I'm moving my mums into a protected location to keep the blooms protected from the excessive water.**

LANTERNS & LIGHTWEIGHT DECOR - Anything lightweight or loose should be brought inside or moved to a protected area. Check that lanterns, signs and other accessories are secure.

Just a few minutes can make a big difference in preserving the longevity of your display! Your fall decor (and porch stylist) will be so appreciative!
