I am a busy mommy to 4 lovely daughters, 1 adorable son and wife to a wonderful husband and in my "spare" time I have been refinishing furniture pieces.Most are antiques that need some major sprucing up.I love the transformation from ugly duckling to Rustic Elegance! I mainly use Annie Sloan Chalk Paint and finish off each piece with a clear wax and/or a dark wax after distressing each piece.Thanks for stopping by!

Have you ever heard of metallic abrasion? I used to think that if jewelry left a dark line on your skin sometimes that it was tarnishing or poor quality jewelry. And that’s not the case. Metal abrasion and tarnishing are two different things.
Permanent jewelry is super low maintenance, but if you want it to be bright and shiny for a long time, make sure to give it a little scrubby scrub every once in a while👌

We accidentally locked our purses in this little closet in my studio🫣 No worries though: we pulled out all the tricks. Bobby pins. Credit cards. Screw drivers. Things that usually work for me😎 Eventually we went for the hinges 👌 I always say, where there’s a will there’s a way. Even when it comes to breaking and entering😇 Mission accomplished 😇
