The blue dream bedroom is officially underway at our newest vacation home project near Indian Rocks Beach 🩵

This primary retreat was designed to embody the calming effect of the ocean and the magical feeling it creates. 🌊

A *mostly* monochromatic palette was inspired by the many shades of blue we see in the water, depending on how the light shifts.

My favorite detail is the two fish above the bed, swimming in sync—a nod to love and unity…perfect for the primary 🫶🏼

Last week, we shared the front courtyard. Now, meet her sister - the side courtyard.

She too once sat sad, empty and unoccupied (swipe for the before 😯) - but around here, wasted square footage simply isn’t an option.

Now with shaded seating for both dining and lounging, new pavers that feel five-star under bare feet, and intentional open space for morning yoga - this sunny little escape is ready for livin’. ✨

What a wild ride! When I started this business 5 years ago in the middle of a global pandemic, I could have never dreamed it would be where it is today.

When I designed my own dining room, I knew I wanted it to feel equal parts classic and contemporary - and definitely have a queen’s throne, I mean end chair that made even the simplest at-home meals feel magical. 👑✨

The choice to mix-match the rest of the seating around the table was inspired by my rebellion against the matchy-matchy dining sets I grew up with in the 90s. Because let’s be honest, life’s more fun when it’s a little mix-matched. 🤘🏼

This special space and story was featured in and it was such an honor to share my home through their lens. 🤍

Designing this barn in our backyard was such a dream, and I approached it in the same way I would any home - starting with the rhythm of daily life and barn chores, creating a horse haven where function and refinement live side by side.

While we love partnering with builders and homeowners on full material selections and design planning from the start, some clients come to us after purchasing a newly built home - beautiful properties on premium lots, but with spaces that still feel unfinished or impersonal.

Even in high-end spec and semi-custom homes, it’s common for closets, pantries, and architectural moments to be left wide open or outfitted with basic wire shelving. The idea is flexibility. But for homeowners, it often leads to decision fatigue and a disconnect from how they actually live.

This custom multi-use built-in is a perfect example of how we help bridge those gaps - transforming a previously blank wall into a highly functional, fully integrated space designed around the way our clients entertain, unwind, and gather.

We meet our clients where they are - whether that’s before ground is broken or after the dust settles - bringing clarity to their vision and cohesive, custom touches to their space.

This shower alone involved over 50 design decisions. 🤯 

Each project is layered with choices most homeowners would never think about - but they’re essential to everyday ease and enjoyment.

Our job as designers? To eliminate the guesswork and replace the overwhelm with clarity and confidence in every decision.

Let’s talk tile alone.
Without a designer involved, here’s what the contractor would’ve been asking our client to specify - on her own:

Tile material, size, and color? Finish: matte, glossy, honed, etc.? Pattern: stacked, offset, herringbone? Orientation: horizontal, vertical, diagonal? Edge finish: rectified or handmade? Trim and transitions: where should the tile start and stop? Grout color and contrast: blend in or stand out? Grout thickness and type: sanded, unsanded, epoxy? Niche size and location?

And that’s just one element, of one corner, of one bathroom.

Now imagine the decisions involved throughout an entire home.

If you wouldn’t DIY your dental care or legal work, don’t try to DIY your design - because with the right decisions, design changes lives. ✨
