Tribe.
That’s a group of people who get your brand of crazy. didn’t bat an eye when I said that her art would look great on my chair. tried not to bat an eye when I asked him to build me a throne. So here we are, my friends, having a custom built chair with a curious giraffe, fabulous peacock and a whole lot of hand stitching. It’s 70” tall and ready to become the talk of the town.

Conundrum.
You are proud of your Masters in Liberal Arts and also enjoy the homeless look the high end designer brands offer nowadays? Guess what?! Your furniture can match your style! I adore Victorian frames and the up-cycled rebellious denim to contract and complement the old world look. In this particular case denim sides took almost 2 days to quilt with the metallic threads and create the “lightning strikes” of the darker blue threads. And the lace imbedded in the textile art piece gives the ethereal, almost haunted vibe to this throne. Are you ready to rule the world?

Orchidea.
A jewel of the blossoms. A most seductive and delicate flower that just floats in the air or perches on the tree like an exotic bird. I bought this blue orchid tapestry years ago and was waiting for a perfect chair frame. And here it is in its colourful glory. Second matching chair is in the works (I ran out of blue floral velvet for the top inside wing).

Georgio of the jungle.
My latest Jean up cycle, appliqué, machine embroidery and many other techniques chair ( I feel like I am introducing Daenerys Targaryen with all of her titles). It’s my most time consuming project for the last decade. Hours upon hours of designing and executing this vision.

One of my favourite jeans upcycling projects. Lots of work sewing together and quilting small denim swatches, but the patchwork of all the shades of blue is so unique and organic, that I’ll do it over and over again.

The thrills and unnecessaries of the Belle Epoque. They say “devil is in details”, but don’t we all accessorise to feel Devine?! And wear Prada if possible?! Who doesn’t covet blush, chartreuse,cerulean and other even less pronounceable “couleur du jour” that couturiers throw at us from the runway?! Your sofa deserves a new dress as well. And beige is not an option. Cheers, my dears, let’s celebrate the beauty of the curves and colours!

The Throne!
In my head I am that bad a$$ mother of dragons, but that’s what it looks like on the outside in reality! Yes, there is a dragon ( will correct me here and say “dragoness”), but you know what I mean. The rest is pinks and tassels.

The spiritual meaning of a dragonfly centers on transformation, adaptability, and self-realization. Across many beliefs, they are seen as light-filled messengers representing emotional maturity and the shift beyond illusion. Thank you for an incredible skull tapestry. You will always remain my muse.

Adding embroidery to the upholstery work is an absolutely invaluable opportunity. With images superimposed on an already patterned fabric you can add so much more depth and meaning. I frequently use it and I am always open to customers’ requests.
