I spent a few hours volunteering at Hope Heals in Warrenton, VA this week, helping gather essential items for Hurricane Helene victims. It was incredible to see the community come together, donating and organizing boxes to support the Asheville Donation Center in getting supplies to those in need in NC and TN. We even had a CDL driver on his way back to Ashland, NC, stop to lend a hand in organizing and loading the truck! The 26' U-Haul is close to being filled to the brim with donations. They leave tomorrow morning for the Ashville donation center.
