Just Ate Campfire Chips!

The ultimate summer snack has arrived. 🪵✨ Before sitting down for dinner i was shopping in the country store and found the perfect snack for my summer trip. Dropping a review of the Cracker Barrel Campfire Potato Chips because the flavor profile sounded too good to pass up!

First off, the texture is crunchy. If you love kettle cooked chips, you already know that extra-thick, satisfying crunch. But the real star is the seasoning. They’re tossed in a smokey seasoned blend of bell peppers, onions, and just a hint of garlic. It’s savory, a little sweet, perfectly smoky, and 100% gives off those nostalgic campfire moment vibes. 🏕️❤️

The Verdict: 10/10 would take on a summer road trip. 🚗💨 (oh and did you know about the road trip giveaway they are hosting? Go checkout their page for more info if you want to win 🏆)

It’s literally the perfect summer campfire snack in a bag. ☀️🍂

Just ate the best ramen!

If you haven’t been to Jinya Ramen Bar at the Topanga Westfield Mall yet, what are you actually doing? Jinya has over 60 locations across North America—plus a brand-new spot in Canada at the Willowbrook Shopping Centre. Let’s eat!

First, the drinks. My designated driver Mr8 got the Kiwi Sparkler mocktail—super refreshing with kiwi, lychee, and egg white. For me? The Smokey Wokashi Old Fashioned and a nostalgic Melon Soda Float.

For apps, the Crispy Rice with Spicy Tuna has the perfect little kick and pairs beautifully with that Melon Soda Float. Then, we grabbed these Salmon Poke Wonton Tacos. They’re amazing, and bonus—they’re on the Happy Hour menu!

For the main event, we got the Jinya Tonkotsu Original 2010 and the massive Mountain Buta Garlic Ramen. Both come in a rich pork broth with pork chashu, seasoned egg, and extra-thick noodles. Authentic, rich, and highly recommended. But do not skip the Garlic Chicken Steak and the Garlic Rice with Pork Chachu This sizzling shareable is an absolute must-order.

Trust me, Jinya hits the spot every single time. When are you going to Jinya? So I think you know what to do!

Just Ate Campfire Dishes!

Summer is officially here, and that means one of my absolute favorite seasonal traditions is back at Cracker Barrel!

The Campfire Beef and Campfire Chicken are back in their signature foil packs. They’re slow-cooked with corn, potatoes, and carrots in a buttery herb broth.

It’s basically a summer cookout in a bag—super tender, smoky, and no bug spray required.

These are only here for a limited time this summer, so grab your crew and head to Cracker Barrel to catch the campfire before it’s gone!

Check out Cracker Barrel!

Side Notes:
Great customer service and the staff are very friendly and attentive!
The general store is fun too with all kinds of knick-knacks, snacks and tchotchkes. Wify got a pair of boots while i looked at cast iron skillets 🍳

Just Ate Banana Graham Slam 🍌🥛

Finally got my hands on the Banana Graham Slam from Protein Pints! We spotted these at Ralphs and had to see if the hype was real.

With 30g of protein and a solid mix of banana, graham cracker crumbles, and peanut butter flakes, it’s a total win for the post-gym cravings or just a late-night snack that actually hits. If you're near a Ralphs, definitely check the freezer aisle—this one is a keeper!

Just Ate the VIRAL Birria Ramen from Vallarta Supermarket! Is this the best $3 meal in America right now? Most instant noodles feel like a compromise, but this cultural fusion is changing the game.

The Rise of Cultural Fusion in Food

I recently came across the story of Cielo Ramen, and it is a fascinating example of how brands are successfully blending traditions. This Hispanic-owned brand is bridging the gap between Mexican and Japanese cuisine by bringing authentic birria flavors to the instant noodle aisle.

Here are a few reasons why this is the best!

🚀 Innovation in Packaging
Most instant noodles rely on a simple powder packet. Cielo uses a liquid soup base and a separate seasoned oil packet to replicate the iconic red consume layer. This small change in the product components creates a massive difference in the final flavor profile.

🥗 Better-for-You Ingredients
Even in the quick-meal category, consumers are looking for more. This ramen offers nine grams of protein and is cholesterol-free, proving that convenience does not always have to mean sacrificing nutritional value.

🌮 The Power of the Level Up
The real magic happens when you treat a budget-friendly item as a base for something greater. By adding fresh cilantro, onions, and lime, you can transform a $2.50 cup into a restaurant-quality experience. It is a masterclass in maximizing value.

The success of products like this shows that there is a massive appetite for authentic, culturally diverse options in our everyday grocery stores. Whether it is birria, menudo, or pozole, these flavors are finding a permanent home in the global pantry.

Have you tried the birria ramen trend yet, or do you prefer the classic flavors? Let me know your favorite quick lunch hack in the comments!
