🌹🌹A SPACIOUS 3-BEDROOM COUNTRY HOME WITH CATHEDRAL GREAT ROOM, SCREENED PORCH, AND LARGE 2-CAR GARAGE🌹🌹

This beautifully designed country-style home combines spacious living, smart functionality, and timeless Southern charm into a layout built for comfortable family living. Featuring 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a large open great room, and an oversized 2-car garage, this home offers the perfect balance between practicality and relaxed luxury. Homes with layouts like this continue to remain highly desirable because they provide generous indoor and outdoor living without feeling overly complicated.

One of the standout features of this design is the impressive great room with cathedral ceilings that creates a bright, open, and airy atmosphere at the center of the home. High ceilings dramatically increase the feeling of space while allowing natural light to spread throughout the interior. Great rooms with vaulted or cathedral ceilings remain one of the most requested features in modern country homes because they make the home feel larger and more elegant.

The open-concept layout connects the great room, kitchen, and dining area in a natural and functional flow. This setup improves movement throughout the home while creating a more social environment ideal for family gatherings and entertaining guests.

The kitchen is designed to be both functional and welcoming, featuring generous counter space, direct access to the pantry, and a large connection to the dining and living areas. This arrangement makes cooking and entertaining easier while maintaining the home’s spacious and connected feel.

A major highlight of this floor plan is the large screened porch located at the rear of the home. This outdoor living area creates the perfect place for relaxing, outdoor dining, or enjoying fresh air while staying protected from insects and harsh weather. Screened porches continue to be highly valued in Southern-style homes because they extend the living space outdoors while improving comfort year-round.

The home includes 3 spacious bedrooms arranged in a split-bedroom layout for added privacy. The master suite is positioned separately from the secondary bedrooms, creating a quiet and comfortable retreat complete with a large private bathroom, walk-in wardrobe, soaking tub, separate shower, and dual vanities.

Bedroom 3 also offers excellent flexibility and can easily function as a home office, study, guest room, or hobby space depending on the homeowner’s needs. Flexible-use rooms continue to grow in popularity because modern families increasingly prefer homes that can adapt over time.

Another standout feature is the oversized 2-car garage with direct access to the utility and storage areas. Large garages remain highly desirable because they provide additional storage space, workshop potential, and protection for vehicles while improving overall functionality.

The inclusion of a dedicated utility room, pantry, storage spaces, and multiple bathrooms adds strong everyday practicality and helps keep the home organized and efficient for long-term living.

Large windows throughout the home allow natural light to fill the interior, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Combined with the open layout and cathedral ceiling design, the home feels significantly larger and more comfortable than many traditional layouts.

The single-story design makes the home easy to navigate and maintain, making it ideal for families, retirees, countryside living, or anyone looking for long-term comfort without stairs.

Homes like this are especially popular in Texas, Tennessee, Georgia, Kentucky, and the Carolinas where country-style homes with large porches and open interiors continue to dominate residential housing trends.

In the United States, building a home like this would typically cost around $320,000 to $650,000+ depending on materials, finishes, labor costs, and location. Upgraded kitchens, large porches, and cathedral ceilings can significantly increase the overall construction cost.

SINGLE-STORY MODERN FARMHOUSE WITH INTEGRATED OPEN-PLAN LIVING
This image provides a comprehensive architectural overview of a contemporary residential design, pairing a photorealistic exterior rendering with a detailed, dimensioned floor plan. The visualization depicts a modern farmhouse aesthetic, characterized by vertical board-and-batten siding, a prominent stone chimney, and warm timber accents. The accompanying plan illustrates a highly functional 68'-6" by 61'-2" layout that emphasizes a central social core flanked by specialized utility and private sleeping zones, designed for modern family efficiency.

KEY COMPONENTS
• Architectural Exterior: The design features a high-contrast white facade with natural wood gables and a large masonry chimney. The steep rooflines are designed to manage snow load, as evidenced by the winter setting.
• Central Living Spine: The heart of the home is a contiguous open space consisting of the Family Room (15'-3" x 16'-4"), Dining area, and Kitchen, all featuring uniform 10'-0" ceilings for a consistent sense of volume.
• Gourmet Kitchen & Pantry: The kitchen is centered around a large island and is supported by a walk-in Ptry (5'-1" x 5'-0"), optimizing the "work triangle" for the resident chef.
• Owner’s Suite Sanctuary: Located in the upper right quadrant, the Owner’s Suite is physically separated from secondary bedrooms for privacy, including a spacious O. Bath and a dedicated Wic (walk-in closet).
• Utility & Mudroom Corridor: A specialized transition zone connects the 2-Car Garage to the main house, containing a Mud room with cubbies and a dedicated Ldry (laundry) room with a sink.
• Multi-Porch Integration: The design includes three distinct outdoor spaces: a formal Vlt. Porch (vaulted) at the entry, a smaller front porch, and a massive Rear Porch (32'-4" x 12'-0") for outdoor entertaining.

SYSTEM OVERVIEWThe design represents a masterclass in spatial efficiency, successfully fitting three bedrooms and a two-car garage into a compact footprint without sacrificing luxury feel. By utilizing a "split-bedroom" plan, the architect ensures that the owner’s suite remains a quiet retreat while the central living areas remain open and inviting. The inclusion of heavy-duty utility spaces like the mudroom and oversized garage storage demonstrates a focus on practical, real-world engineering tailored for families in varying climates.
