Every material feels organic, making the beach itself the focal point.

The charm here comes from the details: the deep plum thatched roof, soft stone walls, climbing roses, and a garden that looks like it has been blooming for decades. Even the little pond reflects the colors of the flowers, making the entire property feel like it belongs in a fairytale.

As a designer, I love homes that have a clear personality. Every material, color, and plant feels intentional, creating a space that's warm, timeless, and impossible to forget.

Design tip: Want your garden pond to have that beautiful blue glow? Many landscape designers use a blue geomembrane (pond liner) beneath the water to enhance its color while creating a cleaner, more vibrant finish.

Most homes are built on the land. This one feels like it was built with it.

The living green roof lets the architecture disappear into the hillside instead of competing with it. Natural stone, curved rooflines, and soft arch windows echo the landscape, while the pool becomes a calm reflection of the sky. Nothing feels out of place because every material works with nature instead of against it.

To me, that's what timeless design looks like—not bigger or flashier, just thoughtful enough to make the house feel like it has always belonged here.
