For as long as I can remember, I've always been interested in art and antiques. From the first time my mother showed me how to refinish a cedar chest, I've had a passion for antiquities. Mary's College, where I was trained to incorporate color into every artistic endeavor. Years later, I was employed in High Point, North Carolina screen printing on glass and wood for the furniture industry, where

I also had the opportunity to develop colors and techniques for customers. My next twenty nine years were spent raising my 4 beautiful kids while collecting antiques here and there. Now that my kids are grown I have had the opportunity to collaborate with cabinetmaker and designer Doug Wright to create this new entity. This opportunity has allowed me to further develop my education on painting techniques to bring to you the finest finishes for my furniture. I repurpose and refinish pieces from the past to create new furnishings and accessories for today's home that can become heirlooms for the future. I use only the finest paints and stains to create functional and elegant home furnishings. Feel free to contact me about existing pieces or any custom work you wish to have done. This gorgeous garden table was in my showroom for MANY years. It even went to numerous shows in Ohio and Michigan …. But sadly never found a new home 😔 … until today ….

I really did not need another piece but it works perfectly on my covered patio.

Yep .. I’m closing my showroom, and there are lots of goodies to be sold! There is something for everyone .. curated vintage goodies, refinished dressers, tables, chairs, desks, etc., seasonal items, and more. Looking for something to refinish yourself .. I got you! The showroom will be open on Saturday Sept. 13th and 20th from 10 am to 3 pm, and is located at 400 Main St., Toledo, Oh. Can’t make it then, no problem, message me for a private showing. Stay tuned .. finished pieces will be posted in the coming days! I have had a great run, but it is time for a new chapter. Thank you to all my customers. I have enjoyed knowing and creating for each and everyone one of you .. I couldn’t have done this without you!

So this happens … a customer says to me.. I love the black entrance table. It’s perfect for my space. EXCEPT … I can’t use black and I would rather have a stained top. I say … NO PROBLEM. SO… I gave her what she wanted. A navy base with a new walnut top that will is perfect for her home!!! 🤗
Moral of this story … if you don’t like the finish. I can help!!!
