This dining room started with hesitation. The wallpaper felt like a big leap outside my client’s comfort zone. We explored countless options, only to circle right back to the original vision. And honestly… there’s a reason we did.

This Sandberg wallpaper is where dreams are made of soft, timeless, and quietly layered in a way that transforms the entire space without overwhelming it. It brings just enough pattern to elevate the room while letting the architecture, textures, and warm wood tones shine.

We relocated this space to create something truly special tucked in just the right spot for effortless access from the pool, yet designed to feel like a destination all on its own.

From the statement marble sink to the rich wood mirror and layered textures, every detail was intentional. This is one of those rooms where guests walk in and instantly say “wow.”

This home has truly been a progression of love from beginning to end. From the very first conversation to the final details, every moment of this journey was built on trust, vision, and an incredible partnership with the homeowners. I couldn’t have asked for more thoughtful, dream-worthy clients to walk this process with.

The amount of dedication, planning, and heart that went into this home goes far beyond any typical renovation The W Home has ever taken on. Every space was carefully imagined and brought to life with intention.

But what makes this project most meaningful to me isn’t just the design it’s the relationships that grew along the way. What started as a project turned into lifelong friendships, and that is something I will always be grateful for.

In episode 2 of our Hillendahl doc-series, we’re diving into one of the most common (and most overlooked) challenges “foundation moisture” and what actually has to happen behide the scenes before you can install any hard surface.

This step isn’t glamorous, but it’s critical. Without addressing moisture first, even the most beautiful flooring won’t last.

2025 stretched us, challenged us, and grew us in ways we could have only hopes for 🥂

•The W Home completed two massive whole house remodels one in Austin the other in Houston.

•Designed four bathrooms, three kitchens with our partner builder in Austin.

•Took a leap of faith and opened our first design studio, now home to The W Home and the launch of The W Shade & Co

•Made space to show up more attending and connecting more in our design community.

Heading into 2026 with more knowledge, deeper experience, and a future that’s never looked brighter ✨

None of this would be possible without the trust of our incredible clients and my husband .tx, who lets me run wild with my ideas.
