Quick story for you all. Two weeks ago I stepped down from my leadership position as a nurse. I was unhappy, stressed, and just feeling overworked. I put in way too many hours and this affected me physically and greatly affected my health, and family life. I found myself being angry all the time and finally decided enough was enough. I put myself first! I have no idea what my future holds as far as my career but I can tell you the past two weeks have been the best I’ve felt in quite some time. If you find yourself in the same place…I encourage you to take some time for yourself. Do something that brings you joy. Crafting and making things is what I love to do…and the reason I picked up posting on this page again. I know quitting a job is not completely possible for many….but do find your happy place…..Find your joy! Spend even a few hours a week doing something you love!
