We are EXCITED for the BIGGEST PET EVENT of the year- Bark in the Park. Oct 16th, 11a-4p at Jim Woods Park in Steubenville. This is a free event, but we ask you to bring a can of dog or cat food to donate. This is the list of the Scheduled Special Events, BUT there are many more things to do at Bark in the Park...
-5 animal rescues with pets ready to adopt
-Vendors
-Food trucks
-Face Painting
-Pumpkin Painting
-Meet the JCHS Team booths
-Pet Photo Booth
-Volunteer and Foster Sign ups
-FUN for all ages
-Pet FRIENDLY
- Children welcome
-JCHS Low Cost Mobile Vaccination Clinic ($15 vaccines, $20 microchip, $10 nail trims) Please note that the mobile clinic is open from 11a-1pm
- Look Like Your Pet Contest 11:15a
- See a live Police K9 demonstration with Sgt Rob Cook at 12p
-Bring your pets to receive a blessing during the Blessing of the Pets at 1p
- Then show off your pet's adorable costume and in the Costume Contest for pets at 2p
- Bring your hungry pet and win the Pie Eating Contest for pets at 3p
This is one you don't want to miss! Help us find HOMES for EVERY pet from EVERY shelter on Oct 16TH!
The shelter will be closed on Oct 16TH for this event
